Oakland Ice Center operated by Sharks Ice along with the Oakland Bears program were just awarded a Gold Status Association level by USA Hockey. "We are extremely proud to be recognized for the efforts of our Coaches and Volunteers that put in countless hours for the hockey programs in Oakland.  As the new Hockey Manager we will build on this strong foundation and continue to provide the best coaching and development for the youth of our community.  This is just one of many great programs that are offered at the Oakland Ice Center and my focus is to continue to provide the best programs for fun and positive growth for all ages in the great sport of hockey", says Derek Donald, Hockey Manager.
