The 2016 NorCal Youth Hockey Championships

The Squirt BB's will take to the ice on 3/18/16 to face-off against the San Jose Jr. Sharks BB2 program at 2:15 PM in San Jose. The two teams have played very competitive hockey this season, seeing each other three times during the regular and tournament season. While the SJ Squirt BB2 team took a victory the last meeting, 6-2, the Bears have shown strong efforts in all three games, playing to 1-1 and 2-2 ties the previous two times they saw each other. 

Win or lose, the Bears will return to San Jose tomorrow morning to play Game 2 at 6:45 AM. They will face either the winner or loser of the other bracket. The NorCal Championship weekend features a double-elimination process to find the overall Champion of the NorCal league. 

Here are some scenarios:

1. If the Bears win Game 1 and Game 2; Game 3 will be played on Sunday morning at 7:00 AM. If the Bears win Game 3, they will be the Squirt BB NorCal Champions!

2. If the Bears win Game 1 and lose Game 2; Game 3 will be played on Saturday afternoon at 4:45 PM. If they win Game 3, they will play Game 4 on Sunday morning at 7:00 AM and if necessary, a Game 5 on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM. 

3. We're rooting against any option that has the Bears losing two games!
