Come join Oakland Bears coaches Chris Linden, John Nadzam, Joe Rutkowski for this great two-day clinic which will focus on teaching players to how to effectively use their body in all aspects of the game. This clinic is great for all kids, regardless of age.
Players who are entering their PeeWee year and younger will receive instruction focused on angling with and without the puck, using their bodies to protect the puck, how to protect themselves from oncoming body contact, etc.
Players who are entering their Bantam year and older, will receive instruction on the proper way to check with the intention of separating the puck carrier from the puck, when to angle instead of check, puck protection and personal safety.
Registration will be available online through www.oaklandice.com and at the front desk of the Oakland Ice Center. Day of clinic registrations WILL BE ACCEPTED.
