PeeWees fall to Tri Valley for first loss of 2013

In their first game back from the holiday break, the Oakland Bears Pee Wee B team lost to the Tri Valley Blue Devils 5 -3 on Saturday, January 12.  The Bear's overall season record to 15 - 9 - 1.  The loss dropped the Bears to 5th place in Norcal's regular season standings with a 5 - 3 -1 record for 11 points.  The Bears are one point out of a playoff spot.    
 
The Bears trailed after one period 2 - 0 and evened the score in the second period at 3 -3.  The Blue Devils, however, then scored 2 goals to close out the game.  The Bears will now participate in the 2013 Tahoe Invitational over the Martin Luther King Holiday.  In the tournament, the Bears will compete against Pee Wee A teams.
