The Oakland Bears won their first game of the weekend 5-4 over the Stockton Thunder in Game 1 of the NORCAL 16UA Championships.  The scoring was spread around with 5 different players scoring and goaltending was solid.  The Bears scored in the late minutes of the game to win in regulation.

They will face the Vacaville Jets at 10:30am Saturday morning and the San Jose Jr Sharks at 7:15pm Saturday night.  The Championship game is scheduled for Sunday with all games at Vacaville Ice Sports.
