Oakland Ice Center operated by Sharks Ice along with the Oakland Bears program were just awarded a Gold Status Association level by USA Hockey for the third season in a row. "We are extremely proud to be recognized for the efforts of our Coaches and Volunteers that put in countless hours for the hockey programs in Oakland.  We will continue to build on this strong foundation and continue to provide the best coaching and development for the youth of our community.  We offer programs for the player that is getting on the ice for the first time all the way up to the elite high school age players at the Oakland Ice Center and my focus is to continue to provide the best programs for fun and positive growth for all ages in the great sport of hockey", says Derek Donald, Hockey Manager.
